  • Zello is used for operational communications.
  • Discord voice channels are intended for general and off-shift communication.
  • Operational radio traffic should remain professional and concise.
  • Avoid unnecessary traffic during active incidents.

🎖️ Chain of Command

  • Members should follow the established chain of command.
  • Incident Command has authority over active incidents.
  • Members should direct operational concerns through the appropriate command personnel.

🚨 Incident Operations

  • Follow assignments given by Incident Command.
  • Do not interfere with established incident operations.
  • Maintain awareness of your surroundings.
  • Personnel safety should remain a priority.

👨‍🚒 Professional Conduct

  • Treat department members with respect.
  • Maintain professionalism while representing PHVFD.
  • Follow department leadership and instructions.
  • Avoid unnecessary arguments during incidents.

🚒 Apparatus

  • Operate apparatus responsibly.
  • Do not take apparatus without authorization.
  • Return equipment to its appropriate location.

🕐 Duty Status

  • Members should clearly communicate their duty status.
  • Members should not represent themselves as available when they are unavailable.
  • Follow current department duty procedures.
