Command Ride-Alongs
Command ride-alongs are scheduled department activities requiring authorization.
Chief Scheduling & Command Approval Required
All command ride-alongs must be scheduled by the Fire Chief and must receive command staff approval before taking place.

Request
Submit a ride-along request to department command.

Schedule
The Fire Chief determines the date and time of the ride-along.

Approval
Command staff must approve the ride-along before it is conducted.

Participate
Participants must follow all department expectations and instructions.
Ride-Along Expectations
- Ride-alongs must be scheduled in advance.
- Unauthorized ride-alongs are not permitted.
- The Fire Chief controls scheduling.
- Command staff approval is required.
- Participants must follow the instructions of department personnel.
- Command may cancel or modify a ride-along when necessary.
